Here's a tip to tart up your scorpio badge ... I had a look at my logo on the back 1/4 panel, and it was looking a bit tired, so i thought about tarting it up a bit, I'm not very steady with a paint brush, couldn't realy spray it on unless it was masked off, havn't got the patience for that. Tried a Q-tip that was a bad idea. Then i remembered the packaging that i got when i was sent a trim i had off a fellow member of the scorpio site. ( I never throw anything away ) So i cut a piece of this sponge stuff into a strip, about the size of the logo plus 1/2 inch, sprayed some paint on it and dabbed it over the logo and hey presto a nice bright logo.....  Another tip for the saloon boot. If you want the boot to spring open instead of having to lift the boot up, All you have to do is to attach a strong tie wrap over about 5 coils of the springs either side of the boot and compress them enough so the boot opens on it's own power. Unfortunately it can't be done on the estate cause they are pnematic and not springs. |
